If you've recently been in contact with a member on the site but you now see a message saying this member has been deactivated, it will be for one of the following reasons:
- Since sending their message to you, the member has chosen to leave the site and has now removed their profile.
- The member has been removed from the site for breaching our Terms of Use. For example, this could be because of fraudulent activity or involvement in online scams.
Any messages that you have received from this member will have been sent before the member's account was deactivated. We take the safety of our members very seriously and will deactivate any accounts we feel are non-genuine or behaving fraudulently.
